Update!!!!

CT Scan results were back today, Here's what they found:
-Hypodensity (meaning not super vascular or weighted-this is a good thing)
-It is on the bottom right lobe of my liver
-It looks "atypical" for a hemangioma, but everything else points them to this type of tumor. Otherwise, they are thinking that it is a Hepatic adenoma, which is a lot more rare, but can create it's own bile, which can explain the elevated bilirubin levels. They are thinking it is one of these two types of tumors. Good News: These are both benign tumors!
-The next step: I will see a G.I. Doctor tomorrow that will decide the direction from here
-The spin: Although these are both thought to be congenital (meaning I was born with it), They are thought to be exacerbated (increased in size) from the hormones related to birth control and pregnancy, which is thought to be why the most prevalent group that gets diagnosed with these tumors are women in their childbearing years. These 2 facts could create some dilemmas for us as far as whether it would be safe for me to be on any hormonal birth control, and maybe whether or not it is safe to have another pregnancy knowing that I have this
-The GI doctor will most likely decide tomorrow out of additional blood tests, biopsy, removal, or cessation from hormones to see if any shrinking takes place
Some of this is no new news, but I think that the new news is good news! I will post when I know more (hopefully tomorrow)!!!
