The Place: The Keddington Household
The Time: Last Thursday around 11:30 pm
The problem: 2 girls won't go to bed AGAIN!!!!
The distraction (this time): A game of golf being played in the family room (no kidding) as well as a make believe symphony being conducted by Kandace
The result: Mom is tired (and is getting more & more mad)
The conclusion: Mom yells, acts like a child, scolds children, and locks herself in her own room. If children aren't going to sleep, Mom is going to anyway. Mom gives up most nights!!!
Time lapse: 1/2 hour
The sound: Knock on bedroom door
The reply: "GO TO BED"!!!!!
The child: sad
The Mom: doesn't care
The intervention: Paper slid under the Mom's door
The note reads:
"Mom, I love you. It's hard to have kids like me and K'Lynn. I'm sorry. Love Kandace to: Mom From: Kandace
The Mom: Feels extreme guilt
The door: opens
The Mom: hugs cute kids!!!
The Mom pleads: PLEASE GO TO SLEEP, O.K.?
The prayer: Thanks for my sweet kids
Now, we can all go to bed!

Kids are amazing and can bring an instant change in the mood. I like to compare mine to sour patch kids. You know at first sour then sweet :D
I hate it when I have my bad mommy moments! I feel like I have more than most pepole, and that Reese deserves a more patient mother. But I am so thankful that even if I'm not perfect, she still loves me and wants to love and cuddle me all the time! Kids are the best.
I stumbled on your blog by accident and it is fun to see what you are up to. I haven't heard much of you since we worked together in Primary. Sounds like all is well with you and your family and you are as busy as ever! Take care.

Angela this is so cute I even got a little teary eyed. I understand the frustration of fighting with kids to get them in bed all to well.
Email me your email address so I can invite you to my blog. tryndar@msn.com.
