"You will have significant experiences. I hope that you will write them down and keep a record of them, that you will read them from time to time and refresh your memory of those meaningful and significant things. Some may be funny. Some may be significant only to you. Some of them may be sacred and quietly beautiful. Some may build one upon another until they represent a lifetime of special experiences". -Gordon B. Hinckley

Some Firsts and Fun
Some family fun today....but unfortunately there wasn't a camera capturing any of the fun. So, I wanted to do a quick post to remember some of the spur of the moment fun we had today. We started our family date at our favorite pho restaurant: La Cai noodle house. It was so sweet to watch Chaz watch the fish. The wonder in a child's eyes as they experience everything for the first time is such a neat experience. Then, we went to Murray park to have some fun making ourselves crazy dizzy on all kinds of spinning equipment, and of course, see Chaz have fun on the slides. The kids met a fun little friend, a darling little 4 year old boy. Chaz quickly greeted him with his enthusiastic "Hi". The girls were afraid he was going to fall into the water, so we had to stay to make sure that he was back in his van before we left (not sure where they get these worry genes) ;) Finally, we wrapped up our fun at Coldstone. It was fun to watch Chaz splurge on chocolate malt ice cream (that was his dinner tonight). Lots of firsts for little Chaz, and lots of fun for the rest of us. I am thankful for my sweet little family.
