Clogging Camp Fun!!!!!

Thanks to school and our crazy summer, I am just barely getting around to blogging about BYU clogging camp that K'Lynn went to back in June. She went last year, and had a ball, so we were excited that she could go again this year. K'Lynn sold chocolate Easter eggs as a fundraiser to earn money for camp, and ended up earning about $100 of her own money for camp!!!!
The first night that K'Lynn was down there we had a little scare!!! I got home from teaching dance, and had a whole bunch of missed calls from the mom of the teacher that K'Lynn went down to camp with. When I called her back, she told me that the 911 operator had called her and told her that they had received a hang up call from Jen's cell phone. I admit, I was a little nervous until I heard K'Lynn and Jen's voice. Come to find out, it was all a big misunderstanding. In fact, we're still not even sure how Jen's phone called 911!!! Weird!!!

Kandace and Audrey had tons of fun going down and watching the end of camp show. We had a fun weekend having Audrey with us (Audrey is our niece and K'Lynn and Kandace's cousin)

For all of you Ute fans, take a quick look!!! You'll NEVER see this again. This is the BYU field house donned in red and white balloons!!! Why you ask? Because the theme of the camp was High School Musical. Kind of funny I thought (not the theme, rather the rivalry color scheme).

Here's K'Lynn performing at the end of camp show. The highlights were the clog down and the FUN dance to Hoedown by Miley Cyrus. It is super impressive to watch 200+ cloggers all performing together at the same time!!!

Since the theme of the camp was High School Musical, the whole camp was broke into groups that fit student themes including: The Cheerleaders, The Jocks, K'Lynns group: The Band Geeks, amongst others!!!

The end of camp was rounded off with a fun slide show highlighting all of the fun times the kids had at the camp. On game night, they played the game where you spin around holding a baseball bat to your head, and then run a race. They had video footage of the kids doing this, and then they put it in slow motion, and played the Chariots Of Fire Theme. It was super funny!!!
